Faith in the Fire

"Turn up the heat. Turn up the flame.
I’m walking through the fire, calling on His name."

Faith isn't just about avoiding hard times; it's about staying close to the Lord when things don't make sense. Like Joseph in the Egyptian dungeon, we can choose to keep our "light burning on the inside" even when our circumstances are dark.

Set the Stage: The Refining Process

Joseph was sold into slavery at 17 and spent 13 years in Egypt before his life changed. During that time, he was falsely accused and forgotten in prison. The Come, Follow Me manual reminds us that while the Lord didn't prevent these bad things, He never left Joseph’s side. Every trial was a "step" Joseph took to become the leader God needed him to be.

The Big Idea: God is With You
Joseph’s story is anchored by one powerful phrase: "The Lord was with Joseph". This didn't mean Joseph was rich or free; it meant he had peace and revelation. We learn that when we face adversity, God isn't punishing us—He is refining us like gold in a fire to bring out the power hiding inside.

Meet the LeBaron Family

The faces behind the music. Just a family in Chicago trying to make the scriptures sing.

Shout For Joy Music was born from a simple desire: we wanted to bring the weekly Come, Follow Me curriculum to life for our own kids. We wanted a way to help the scriptures move from the page and into our children’s hearts through a visual and musical ritual they would actually look forward to. Our goal is to make Bible stories approachable and relatable for children today.

Our hope is simple: to help your family sing the scriptures and live the joy. We pray these weekly anthems become a meaningful part of your family’s journey of discipleship.
