Our Story
We are the LeBaron family. We met and fell in love in Chicago, and today, we are raising our three children in the heart of the city we love. As lifelong members of the Church, our home has always been anchored by the gospel—and by music.
Shout For Joy was born from a simple desire: we wanted to bring the weekly Come Follow Me curriculum to life for our own kids. We wanted a way to make the scriptures move from the page and into our children's hearts through a visual and musical ritual they would actually look forward to.
The Hearts Behind the Music
We’ve spent years serving in our local wards, from the Primary room to the Bishop’s office. We know firsthand that a catchy melody can teach a child a deep eternal truth that stays with them for a lifetime.
- Bob served a mission in Canada Toronto East and has served as a Bishop and Young Men’s President. His passion for songwriting began in junior high and continued through college, where he started the band LeBaron.
- Mary has served in Young Women and Primary presidencies, but her heart was truly in her time as a Primary Chorister, witnessing how music can light up a child’s testimony.
We are a family of music lovers and concert-goers. We believe that a powerful lyric can shield us from temptation and an uplifting chorus can provide strength when we need it most.
Our Mission
We created this site to provide a high-quality visual and audio experience for families. By combining fun, engaging artwork with modern pop production, we aim to make Bible stories approachable and relatable for children today.
Our goal is simple: to help your family sing the scriptures and live the joy. We hope these weekly anthems become a cherished part of your family’s journey of discipleship.
