Feb 2–8: “The Lord Called His People Zion” (Moses 7)
From one lonely heart to a City of Holiness. This week, we join Enoch’s people as they learn that Zion isn't just a place you build—it’s a condition of the heart you choose.
Last week, we saw Enoch transform from a "lad" who was "slow of speech" into a mighty Seer. This week, we see what happens when an entire community follows his lead. They didn't just build a city; they built a condition of the heart where nobody was left alone and everyone looked out for each other.

Enoch's City of Holiness
"Enoch is leading us to higher ground!
And we are never gonna turn around!"
Zion happens when we
choose the right together.
Set the Stage: Building Higher Ground
In a world full of "wars and bloodshed," Enoch and his people did something that seemed impossible: they stopped fighting and started building. They didn't use just bricks and mortar; they built their community out of "living stones"—each person contributing their unique heart and mind to the group.
Enoch didn't just tell them what to do; he led them to "higher ground" by showing them how to walk with God. Eventually, they were so unified and filled with the "glory of the Lord" that their entire city was "taken up into heaven". Zion is a witness that when we are truly one, even the sky isn't the limit.
The Big Idea: One Heart, One Mind
Zion isn’t just a place—it's what happens when we stop focusing on "me" and start focusing on "we." It looks like being kind, sharing what we have, and noticing who might feel left out home, church, or at school.
When we live this way, nobody in our “city” (our family, classroom, church or neighborhood) needs to feel alone.

Lyric Highlight
"I’m emptying my pocket and I'm opening my door
We never gonna see the face of poverty no more.
Everything I own is just a borrowed thing
I’m giving it away so I can hear the people sing!"
Reflect: What is one "borrowed thing" (a toy, a snack, or even your time) that you can share today to make someone else sing?
Family Activity
Try This: Give each family member a piece of paper and have them draw one thing they are good at or one thing they love. Cut these drawings into puzzle pieces. Work together to assemble all the pieces into one large "Family Heart" collage on the wall.
Reflect: Just like the puzzle, our family is only "one heart" when every piece is included. How does it feel to see everyone's unique talents making our family stronger?
